Cabinet Project vs Jobber for cabinet dealers and installers

Published by Design Master Solutions LLC

Jobber is a well-known tool for home-service businesses: quotes, scheduling, invoices and payments for any trade. Many cabinet installers already use it. Cabinet Project covers the same quote-to-invoice path but is built around the cabinet job itself: manufacturer price lists, SKUs, multipliers, the order and the delivery check.

Jobber's prices above are for the "Just me" team size on its pricing page; larger teams are priced with the team-size selector on the same page. Jobber Core is cheaper than Cabinet Project Solo. Jobber Connect, the plan its page lists with QuickBooks Online sync and automatic payment collection, costs more than Solo for one user.

What a cabinet job needs that Jobber's pricing page does not list

Where Jobber is the better tool

If cabinets are a small part of a general contracting or handyman business, Jobber covers many trades in one place, and its Core plan is the lower entry price. Its pricing page also lists features Cabinet Project does not offer, such as a website builder and an app marketplace with 100+ tools.

Where Cabinet Project fits

A dealer or installer whose work is mostly cabinets gets the catalog, multiplier, layout, order and delivery check in the same job that already carries scheduling, punch list, invoices and QuickBooks Online sync. Plans are per company, so a three-person shop pays $99 a month on Team, not per seat.
