Cabinet Project vs ProKitchen: price and what each one covers
ProKitchen and Cabinet Project are bought by the same kitchen dealers for different jobs. ProKitchen is a kitchen design program. Cabinet Project starts at the price list and ends at the punch list. This page puts their published prices side by side and says where each one is the better tool.

ProKitchen's page sells a 1-year subscription; it does not show a monthly plan. Cabinet Project is priced per company, monthly or annual, with a 14-day trial without a card on paid plans. Both prices are list prices before any promotion.
Where ProKitchen is the better tool
- Design and 3D. ProKitchen's pricing page lists 3D views with 3D-GO, 3D-Live and 3D-Sync, plus ProCloset and ProCountertop. Cabinet Project's layout is a plan and elevation editor with a simple 3D view, made for getting a correct box list, not for presentation renderings.
- Catalogs maintained for you. The higher ProKitchen plan includes all manufacturer catalogs with background catalog updates. In Cabinet Project you load your manufacturer's price list from a PDF or spreadsheet and review it before it is saved.
- Electronic orders to manufacturers are listed on ProKitchen's higher plan. Cabinet Project sends the order as a PO (PDF or CSV) by e-mail, the way most RTA distributors receive it; it has no direct ordering integration.
Where Cabinet Project is the better tool
- Your multiplier, not just the list. Cost is list × your multiplier, per company, manufacturer or line, and the cost never reaches the customer's PDF.
- After the design. Customer portal with approval and card deposit, the order to the manufacturer, a delivery check with photo claims, crew routes, punch list and QuickBooks Online sync. ProKitchen's pricing page does not list delivery checks, install scheduling or customer payments.
- Phone at the jobsite. The same app runs on phone, tablet and desktop, in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
- A kitchen render for the homeowner in the chosen door style and finish, from a photo of their kitchen, counted in renders per month by plan.
Using both
A showroom that designs in ProKitchen can still quote, order, check the delivery and run the install in Cabinet Project from the same box list. If you only need design, ProKitchen alone is the simpler purchase.
