Cabinet pricing software for contractors who sell the job and hang the boxes
A cabinet contractor prices a job twice before anyone hangs a box: once so the homeowner can say yes, and once so the crew and the distributor are not guessing. Cabinet Project keeps both numbers on the same job. It does not cut sheets, and it does not make you type every cabinet as a blank line item.
One job, from the first number to the invoice
- The first visit. When you only have wall lengths, the quick estimate takes base linear feet, wall linear feet and the count of tall cabinets on one line. The linear foot calculator does the counting.
- The quote. Boxes come off the manufacturer's price list, list times your multiplier, and labor sits on its own lines. The rules, including tax, are on cabinet quoting software.
- The homeowner's copy. The PDF and the customer portal show the selling price, the SKUs and the labor. Your cost and multiplier stay in the app.
- After the yes. If you buy the boxes, the order goes out as a PO in PDF or CSV. The delivery check marks each box OK, missing, damaged or wrong before anyone hangs it.
- Install day. Routes, sign-off and the punch list are on install scheduling. If you only hang boxes and do not sell them, start at software for cabinet installers.
Why a generic contractor app misses the price
Field-service apps price a list of lines you type. A cabinet job is a box list from a catalog, plus labor that is often charged by the foot. The four kinds of cabinet software, and which one estimates what, are sorted in cabinet estimating software: which kind fits a dealer or crew. If you already run jobs in Jobber, the published prices sit next to each other on Jobber and Cabinet Project.
You can run the same list-times-multiplier arithmetic in the cabinet cost calculator before you open a job, and the worked kitchen is in how to quote a 10x10 kitchen. Labor by the foot or by the box is in pricing install labor.
Plans
Solo is one user at $59 a month. Crew is ten users at $249 a month. Plans are per company, monthly or annual, and every paid plan has a 14-day trial without a card. Dealers who live on several manufacturers' lists, rather than on the install, start at software for RTA and semi-custom cabinet dealers.
Questions
Does the bid include the cabinets and the labor?
Yes. Cabinet lines come from your manufacturer price list, list times your multiplier, and install labor is its own lines at your rates, per linear foot or each. Labor is not taxed by default.
Is this for a shop that builds the boxes?
No. There are no cut lists and no CNC. It is for the contractor who buys manufactured RTA or semi-custom cabinets, sells them, installs them, or both.
Can I give a price before I have every SKU?
Yes. The quick estimate uses base linear feet, wall linear feet and the number of tall cabinets on one line, and you turn that into a SKU quote on the same line later.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan is one user and three quick quotes a month by linear foot, with a Cabinet Project branded PDF. Paid plans have the whole workflow and a 14-day trial without a card.
