Software for kitchen showrooms: the job after the design is approved
A kitchen showroom sells with a design: a plan, elevations, a rendering on the big screen. The design program is good at that. What happens after the homeowner says yes, the deposit, the order, the boxes that arrive damaged, the crew and the last punch item, usually lives in e-mail and spreadsheets. That is the part Cabinet Project is for.
Who this page is for, honestly
- A good fit: showrooms of one to ten people that sell RTA or semi-custom lines from a list price and a dealer multiplier, order by PO, and install with their own crew or a subcontractor.
- Not the target: large showrooms built around 2020 Design with integrated manufacturer e-catalogs and electronic ordering. They already have a link to the manufacturer that Cabinet Project does not replace.
Design there, run the job here

| Manufacturer catalogs kept for you | On some plans | No; you import your own price list |
| Your multiplier on every quote, hidden from the customer | Varies | Yes, per company, manufacturer or line |
| Approval with signature and card deposit | No | Yes, in the customer portal |
| PO, status and ETA | Electronic orders on some plans | PO in PDF or CSV, status and ETA |
| Delivery check and claims with photos | No | Yes |

Rows about design programs are general: check your own program's plan. ProKitchen's published plans are compared in detail in ProKitchen next to Cabinet Project.
On the showroom floor
- Quick price at the counter. A homeowner with wall lengths gets a range from the chosen line in a minute, from your own price list at your multiplier. The cost per linear foot guide explains where that range comes from.
- A render of their kitchen. They upload a photo of their current kitchen in the portal and see it in your door style. Counted per month by plan.
- A drawing when you need one. For jobs that are not designed elsewhere, the layout editor gives plan, elevations and a simple 3D, and prices the drawing as a quote.
After the sale
The approved quote becomes the order, with the same box list, hinges and finished ends. At delivery, your warehouse or the crew checks every box on the phone and sends the claim to the distributor with photos; see order tracking. Then the install date, the crew's route, the customer's sign-off, the punch list and the final invoice, synced to QuickBooks Online; see install scheduling.
Price
Per company, monthly or annual: Team for three users at $99 a month or Shop for five at $149, with a 14-day trial without a card. No annual contract is required. The whole table is on the pricing section; dealers selling mostly RTA lines may also want the page for RTA cabinet dealers.
Questions
We design in 2020 Design or ProKitchen. Do we have to stop?
No. Keep designing there. Cabinet Project picks up the job from the box list: the quote at your multiplier, the customer's approval and deposit, the order, the delivery check and the install. There is no file import from those programs; the box list is entered by SKU or drawn in the layout editor.
Is Cabinet Project right for a large showroom with integrated e-catalogs?
Probably not. A large showroom that orders electronically through a design program's manufacturer catalogs already has that link, and Cabinet Project does not order directly from manufacturers. It fits small showrooms and dealers who order by PO.
